From the School Nurse

NY State has changed the grade levels mandated for physical examinations. Beginning September, 2006 the mandated grades will include: Pre-K, K, 2, 4, 7, and 10. Physical examinations continue to be required for any student new to the district. Changing the mandated physical examination grade levels provides an opportunity to follow the student's growth and development over an even distribution of time during the student's educational experience.
